In honor of Valentine’s Day, allow me to present you with two viral Valentine’s Day Proposal Videos: one good, one bad.  So, if you know of someone planning to propose tomorrow, make sure they are more the former than the latter! The Good The Bad “You know, I’m just waiting once for the gal to say no.”  Talk about karma, Mr. Play-By-Play Announcer.

Looks like we have a new trend…  The Wedding Day Lip Dub! As you may remember in a prior post, Joya & Emre set the wedding industry ablaze with their lip dub video of the Black Eyed Peas – “The Time (Dirty Bit)”.  Now, we have yet another one for your inspiration, Melinda & Nick’s lip dub of Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros – “Home”. The video was produced by One Tree Photography.  Please share your thoughts in the comment section below!

Sandstorm Ceremony

Here in Washington State, most brides worry about rain on their wedding day.  But if you are Jennifer & Gustabo Luna of Arizona, you worry about a Haboob (yes, that is what they call sandstorms) on your wedding day. Check out the awesome reaction on Gustabo’s face when he sees the storm approaching. Did anyone else see the irony in the sand ceremony?

A Very Unique Marriage Proposal

I was surfing around on YouTube and came across this marriage proposal that I thought was pretty unique.  See for yourself: Jeff Gurwin painted the mural you see on Avenue A and Second Street in New York City to propose to his girlfriend Caitlin Fitzsimmons.  Afterwards, every man with a girlfriend named Caitlin made plans to casually stroll down Avenue A and Second Street with his Caitlin, pretending he organized the entire thing.  (I’m kidding!) Makes most proposals pale in comparison, huh?

Father/Daughter Dance Goes Viral

Caught this the other morning on Good Morning America – it is the latest viral wedding video of a choreographed dance – this time it is a Father/Daughter dance of Houston residents, Ashley Richmond and David Sparks. The set list includes snippets of “I Want You Back”, “Single Ladies”, “My Girl”, “Stanky Leg”, “My Dougie”, among others. The film crew is A&A Video Productions – they do some fantastic work, as their Vimeo account shows. What do you think?

A Surprise Wedding: The Bride Had No Idea

Who says grooms don’t actively participate in the process of planning a wedding? Meet Shawn Lippert of Ontario, Canada, a groom that planned and hosted a wedding for his fiance, Colleen, and 200 of their closest family and friends – all without Colleen’s knowledge.  Code named, “Operation White Cake” – he even had setup all her bedroom furniture up in a private room at the venue so nothing she needed would be forgotten.  I love how he mentions asking the “details” question – “What will your centerpieces look like?” – and... The Best Wedding Video Ever: Joya & Emre Go Viral

Terranea-Wedding-688x458

The first viral wedding video of 2011 is here! At Tuesday Toast, I was told about this video by Blair of Junebug Weddings (a site in which this Seattle Wedding DJ is featured on – shameless self-plug, I know!). The background story: Joya & Emre wanted to shoot a music video in advance to play at their reception.  However, as time and resources ran short, they opted to shoot a music video AT their reception – with their guests actually in the video! My favorite part: Just wait until you... Read The Rest →
